I caught a couple of movies last night, the first was We Own the Night which was totally forgettable and Michael Clayton which may end up being my favorite “Hollywood” movie of the year. Before both movies I ended up seeing a couple of trailers that got me thinking about how the light sappy (in a good way) independent film style has reached the big time. I really blame it all on Little Miss Sunshine. I enjoyed Little Miss Sunshine a lot and would place it on my top 10 from last year but I’m starting to get tired of this type of movie.
Hollywood has always been really good at beating movie trends to death and it seems this style of movie is going to be the next to be shown over and over again until people no longer want to see it.
