Steven Soderbergh is apparently mulling plans to return to the cosmos of The Limey – with Terrence Stamp along for the ride.
While there’s not one by authority word from the director himself, the news comes from which might be the next most expedient. see the various meanings of good source – his missus.
Talking on the Adam Corolla podcast, journalist and Soder-spouse Jules Asner revealed that not only does he want to carry on it, but that he’s already got a cast in mind.
“He wants to do a sequel to The Limey,†she told the host. “And Terence Stamp wants to behave it. Terence and Michael Keaton.â€
The original, of course saw Stamp’s bruiser of a cockney ex-con head to LA to perceive the man who he thinks murdered his daughter. 
What he’ll be getting up to in a sequel is anyone’s guess.
In other Soderbergh news, it looks like his recent departure from Moneyball hasn’t slowed him down – he’s apparently close to locking in his adaptation of Behind The Candelabra, based upon the life of famed musician Liberace.
Matt Damon is now likely to stick with his Informant director to play Scott Thorson, the man at the back the main division and the piano player’s lover for years.
